When I send an email to multiple recipients using Maill_sendmail the following popen() ist executed:

/usr/sbin/sendmail -fsender@domain.tld -- recipient1@domain.tld recipient2@domain.tld recipient3@domain.tld recipient4@domain.tld recipient5@domain.tld


What I need to know is: What is sendmail going to do with those 5 recipient addresses?
Will it produce 5 seperate emails with TO: recipientX or will it send just one mail with CC/BCC: recipient1@domain.tld,recipient2@domain.tld,recipient3@domain.tld,recipient4@domain.tld,recipient5@domain.tld ?
