|
|
We have a problem with a website. On non-logical moments it jams after clicking random links. If we close the browser and re-open the page and click the link again, it works properly.
So the problem is a non-consistent one and I can’t find the problem.
We don’t have to perform the routine time-and-time again. In many (most) cases everything works normally. The jamming problem does not occur on regular times or links. Is just jams on random links or it doesn’t jam at all.
The techniques we used voor de website development are:
- PHP Version 5.2.0
- Apache Release 10337100
- Apache API Version 19990320
- PEAR <PHP implementation of the XML-RPC protocol>
We are using two servers. A database and a client (website) server. The data which is collected from the server is temporarily stored at the website for several hours before we clean the data. We did some measurements for the collecting and storage of data (testing of data connections between servers), which worked quickly. We therefore think the problem is somewhere else. The strange thing is that the page sometimes just works within a fraction of a second, and the other time it jams.
Is there anybody who had the same problem and knows the solution or the source of the problem? We are also installing a time measurement meter which measures the time a routine does work. Anyone has useful tips for us? |
