I have attempted to install Pear using an existing Wamp installation on Windows Vista.
When I type pear at the Windows command prompt, I get the following message:
php_pear_php_bin is not set correctly
Please fix it using your environment variable
or modify the default value in pear.bat
The current value is: .\php.exe
Is there a fix for this? |

I've now found it.
Go to Advanced System Settings in Control Panel/System & Maintenance/System
Select Environment Variables
Find variable php_pear_php_bin and change value to C:\wamp\bin\php\php5.2.11\php.exe |

I just deleted the pear stuff and made everything in c:php relating to pear look like the original php zip that I downloaded that included pear. Then I used run>regedit to take out everything relating to pear's registry settings, being careful not to mess with anything else listed, especially under "PATH." Then I reinstalled Gnope and everything is good to go. _________________ HUxlay |
