|
|
Hi,
I have a need to install pear as i would like to be able to authenticate email from a php form on my web server. I have php5.2.3 and have run the go-pear.bat file and installed pear with all default settings. When the installation first started i received the following error - php_ffi.dll not in php.ini. The installation continued to install without any errors.
Should i have added this to the extensions in the php ini before i continued with the installation?
If i run pear at the cdm prompt i receive several php warnings - unable to start dynamic library .dll's. One of these is the php_ffi.dll, and 17 can not find module errors.
Is this a permission problem or have i not installed correctly?
I have just tried to test basic php email functions calling mail.php after running "pear install mail" but i just rceive a blank page and nothing gets sent. Do I need to configure the smtp.php, sendmail.php ect in the C:\PHP\PEAR\Mail?
IUSR have read only access to the PHP/directory
I needed to install Net_SMTP after a little more forum searching
Appreciate any help
Thanks
windows server 2003
php 5.2.3
pear 1.5.4 |
