When using the pear installer to upgrade the PEAR package to pear 1.7.2, I get: Error...conflicting files found:PEAR/ErrorStack.php...
Just wonderin' why...thanks! |

| According to the other thread, I guess that you had put the mentioned file manually into the directory. And now the PEAR installer tries to install PEAR 1.7.2, but it finds a file that was never installed before (i.e. there is no entry in the PEAR registry for this file), and that's the conflict. Forcing the installation ("pear install -f ..." or "pear upgrade -f ...") or deleting the manually "installed" files before upgrading should solve the problem. |
