connection to 'pear.php.net:80' failed: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.
can ny 1 explain me wats wrong |

can u tell me watz the "parameter" to b used with config-set. it dosent provide me with much of info.. |

Sorry, I thought it would give you a list of available options. You can use "pear config-show" instead.
This should work:
pear config-set http_proxy your-server.com |

Hi, I have the same problem. But I'm not behind a proxy. I have a direct internet conection. What could be wrong?
I tried this comand:

Anyone knows what could be happening here?
