Can't post in php.pear.general mailing list

I've been trying my hardest to post to the php.pear.general mailing list using Outlook Express but I just can't get my question to appear there.

I subscribed using the form on the pear website
I replied to the email (confirm subscribe to pear-general@lists.php.net)
I then replied to the spam prevention measure email

I then tried to post my quesiton but it didn't appear. I tried this with a different email address a couple of weeks ago, but that didn't work either.

My email address appears correctly in the properties of the outlook express newgroup account...

Any ideas? This is very annoying....help

Maybe your address (or domain?) is blocked due to spam. Are you using a free email service?

An alternative worth trying: use the news server news.php.net, subscribe to php.pear.general and sent your message via your news reader. This might work, but maybe not (you will also get the confirmation email if your address is not yet known).

I've tried using my business address and a hotmail address and neither allow messages to appear in the newsgroup. I haven't go a clue why this isn't working.
