Whatever filetype I use to attach, when I open the email, the attachment is converted to a .txt file. Plus the body of the email has this added text:
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="ISO-8859-1"
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit
What am I doing wrong? |

I think this is actually a variation of Bug #10232
From what I understand gmail is adding an extra line break in the headers so it stops reading the headers and thinks it is in to the body of your message. That is why you are seeing the 'added text' in your message body.
According to the bug report this has been fixed but I am experiencing the same issue on version 1.5.2 trying to send a multipart message to a gmail address. |
