Timeout Fatal Error

Hi

I'm trying to send html mails with PEAR mail.

The PHP script is running on a local EasyPHP server version 1.8.0.1 The addresses are in a distant table.

I'm using the Mail::factory function, with a smtp backend on my ISP's mail server which I don't know much about.
I read in the doc that the smtp timeout default value is 0, i.e. no timeout.

It works just fine with small amounts of addresses (<25), but I want to send the mail to many people, I get this error message :

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in C:\Program Files\EasyPHP\php\pear\Net\Socket.php on line 223

Is this because my ISP's mail server is slow at handling all this mail ?
Is there anything I can/should do, like setting a higher timeout value in Socket.php ?
